The Division of Geriatric Psychiatry at Island Health is looking for one full-time or two part-time psychiatrists. Candidates must have experience in collaborative psychogeriatric care and hold a valid CPSBC license. Providing consultations at outpatient services, long-term care facilities, and potentially through Telehealth are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver geriatric psychiatry consultations to outpatient and facility services
• Support the Senior’s Outpatient Clinic at Royal Jubilee Hospital
• Participate in the Geriatric Psychiatry call rotation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in clinical environments
• Engage in training for medical students and residents
