**GIS Application Developer, Sr.**
**Job Summary**
The Developer Sr, Application for Asset Technology/Geographic Information System (GIS) position within Gas Technology Delivery will work with limited supervision to design and develop custom applications to support the GIS Technology portfolio utilized by Southern Company Gas as well as the build and support of Southern Company Gas COTS applications. This resource will be a subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge within the ESRI GIS Platform and associated mapping technology areas. This role will complete projects which will include standard development using a variety of languages, web-based GIS technologies, cognitive services, integration technologies, and native mobile applications.
This role reports to the Supervisor, IT (GIS)
