Emergency Health Services – Alberta (EHS), Ambulance Dispatch, has an exciting opportunity for a student who is currently enrolled in full time studies in Geographic Information System (GIS) or a Geography-related post-secondary program.
Based at our Ambulance Dispatch Headquarters in Calgary, this is a 6-month coop position with full time day shifts. This position is an excellent way to experience working among a highly skilled and talented GIS team. Your main duties include using Esri Software to digitize, manual edit and update data into an ESRI Enterprise SDE database. You will use GIS Software to ensure the accuracy of data used by EHS field staff, who rely on this team to provide the best mapping information possible.
