Our client is seeking an experienced temp Governance Officer to join their team based in South Perth. This is a great opportunity for a governance professional with strong administrative and compliance experience to play a key role in supporting legislative requirements, governance frameworks, and Council operations.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating governance and compliance processes
- Maintaining statutory registers and governance records
- Managing Freedom of Information and councillor requests
- Providing advice on legislative and compliance matters
- Supporting Council meetings, including agenda and minute preparation
- Assisting with Elected Member training requirements
What you’ll need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Experience dealing with sensitive, political, and confidential matters
