Job Description
What You Will Do The Power Distribution Engineer is responsible for the design, planning, and analysis of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems to support safe, reliable, and efficient utility operations. This role reviews engineering drawings, prepares specifications, maintains and updates engineering standards, and conducts power system studies using advanced software tools. The engineer contributes to the development and execution of capital investment strategies, asset management programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives, including Ontario Regulation 22/04. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the incumbent supports continuous improvement, evaluates new technologies, and ensures alignment with industry best practices and corporate objectives.
