The Opportunity
The Grounds Lead Hand provides daily direction to the Grounds staff and Equipment Operators and performs varied manual and detailed equipment operation in landscape maintenance and construction, snow removal, and grounds clean up.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities Maintenance, below are some key accountabilities:
Meet with the Manager, Facilities Maintenance to determine projects and priorities.Provide daily direction to the Grounds staff and Equipment Operators on assignments, ensuring that work is completed in a timely and complete matter, and providing guidance and mentoring to staff when required.Perform moderately complex tasks, and varied manual and detailed equipment operation in landscape maintenance, snow removal, clean up and landscape construction.Perform winter-related duties, ensuring safe conditions on and around the campus, as well as making ...
