Hardware Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Hardware Quality Engineer to own and build the quality system across Lightspeed’s hardware ecosystem—payment terminals/readers, printers, networking, tablets and POS accessories—ensuring devices meet high performance standards, failures are contained early, and technical issues are resolved permanently across the portfolio.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Define and maintain overall quality strategy which includes a consistent testing framework, quality gates, and acceptance criteria across the hardware portfolio.
- Lead structured investigations into hardware failures, perform root cause analysis, identify containment plans and ensure they are executed.
- Define and maintain the supplier performance monitoring, inspection plans for inbound inventory.
