Job Description
Head of Production Major Tasks
- Lead and ensure the safe, cost‑effective and timely production and packaging of solid finished goods, fulfilling local and international regulations.
- Safety: Guarantee “0 accidents” by taking all appropriate measures (e.g. behavior‑based safety, implementation of process, plant & machinery safety, occupational health and industrial safety programs, learning organization).
- Quality: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (especially GMP) and guarantee stable processes, with a special focus on “right‑first‑time”.
- Engineering: Guarantee proper operation and maintenance of equipment, instruments and facilities together with Head of Engineering, supported by engineering area.
- Supply Chain: Ensure meeting of customer and consumer needs in close collaboration with the planning department, with a focus on changing demands (e.g. eCommerce, personalized medicine).
