Job Description
The
3rd Class Heating Plant Chief
manages a High Temp Hot Water Central Heating Plant and Supervises a team of five Stationary Engineers who work a rotating 12hr shift pattern.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates strong, competent leadership for a multi-trade team, guiding members to reach their full potential and meet performance objectives in support of our corporate goals. Specifically, these responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Full involvement with recruiting talent.
Provides mentoring, coaching and guidance to all team members.
Objectively recommends compensation adjustments.
Manages all aspects of performance
Manage a five (5) man shift team during the heating season and summer shutdown.
Manage 24/7 coverage for the plant during the heating season.
Oversee water treatment in closed loop heating systems across the site.
