Overview
Westar Oilfield Rentals, a well-regarded Oil and Gas Service Company, is looking for a Heavy Duty Apprentice Mechanic. A 1st year to 3rd year Red Seal in Heavy Duty, Automotive, or Commercial Transport is preferred; apprentices will be considered. The successful candidate will maintain and service our rental equipment and field service trucks. Position is available immediately.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $32.00-$43.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service rental equipment and field service trucks as assigned.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and repair 12 V electrical malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, repair or replace parts and components.
