Description
The Tunneling Company offers a range of fit-to-purpose tunneling solutions, including: Microtunneling, Guided Boring, Down-the-Hole Hammer, Auger Boring, Pipe Ramming and more. We manage the entire process from pre-planning and design through to construction.
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal) to join our team. This position will report to the Senior Foreman and to the Operations Manager and is primarily based out of Kamloops, BC.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform all pre-start inspections, start-up procedures, daily operation, and routine system maintenance procedures.
- Repair and adjust engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension, hydraulic pumps, safety valves, and any other necessary mechanical components.
