We are partnering with a community-focused organization seeking a compassionate and dependable Helpline Counselor to provide support to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for someone who is an excellent listener, communicates with empathy, and is committed to helping others navigate difficult situations. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted point of contact, providing emotional support, connecting callers with appropriate resources, and documenting each interaction with professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
+ Answer incoming calls from individuals seeking emotional or behavioral health support.
+ Provide compassionate, nonjudgmental assistance while remaining calm during sensitive conversations.
+ Assess caller needs and connect individuals with appropriate behavioral health, crisis intervention, or community resources.
