Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: September 13 Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: New facility opening Practice Setting: Inpatient coverage New 10-bed facility Average census 7-10 Schedule: 7 on/7 off schedule Solo coverage Some procedures required Low acuity med-surg patients Patient Population: Adults EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 60 days Requirements: Active Wisconsin licensure Board certification AHA BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 1-year Hospitalist experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
