Human Resources Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are complying.
• Recruits hourly indirect labor force using skills testing and interview process.
• Supports Talent Acquisition process for all professional hires.
• Owns the process flow for MTE headcount adds following the requisition process.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
• Supports the administration of benefit programs such as health, life and disability insurance, pension plans, personal time accrual, leave of absences, and employee assistance.
• Maintains records and documentation, in compliance with Federal, State and company retention guidelines, for Employee Personnel Files (including documentation relating to an employee’s hiring, promotion, transfers, performance evaluation an...
