Job Description
An HVAC Mechanical Assembler will work as part of a collaborative team on an assembly line, responsible for following assembly and fabrication drawings to install, fasten, wire, and test components such as fans, coils, motors, and sheet metal. This role demands manual dexterity, mechanical skills, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The main task is sheet metal assembly to construct the outer shell of HVAC units from the ground up, followed by the installation of internal components.
Responsibilities
- Assemble HVAC units, air handlers, heat exchangers, ductwork, and refrigeration components.
- Install and connect motors, compressors, fans, coils, valves, and electronic controls.
- Ensure proper alignment, torque, and sealing of mechanical components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to fasten and secure parts.
