VMWare Administrator – Level 2
Technical Requirements – Primary:
- VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management
- Installation, Provisioning and Troubleshooting of VMware Virtual Infrastructure and Physical Server
- Installation, upgradation and Configuration of VMware v Sphere Platform 6.x, ESXi Host, v Center Server
- Deployment and Provisioning of Windows, Linux VM from template, ISO and preconfigured appliances
- Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades
- Performance tuning of ESX server
- Implement Hardening on ESXi Server
- Document support processes
- Maintain Compliance with Corporate Security Policies
- Work together with the security team, identify server venerability issues and resolving them
- Responsible for restoration of data
- Snapshot, HA, DRS & Cloning background process
- Update manager through OS upgradation...
