Hydrovac Truck Operator
The Hydrovac Truck Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of hydrovac excavation activities across ROHL Alberta project sites. This role supports critical infrastructure work by exposing underground utilities, performing precision excavation, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks and associated equipment in accordance with ROHL safety standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines
- Perform hydrovac excavation activities including daylighting, slot trenching, debris removal, and exposing underground utilities and infrastructure
- Safely operate vacuum boom systems, extensions, and high‑pressure water equipment with precision and control
- Set up and verify proper grounding and/or bonding procedures prior to operations
