Overview
Lead infection prevention efforts with Extendicare as an Infection Control Manager in Stittsville, ON. Drive compliance, enhance quality standards, and elevate resident satisfaction through effective management. In this full time role, report to the Executive Director while overseeing the IPAC program. You will lead a dedicated team, implement IPAC education, and monitor quality indicators. Your goal is to ensure a culture of compliance and continuous improvement through rigorous auditing and employee engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Manage the IPAC program for the home
- Oversee IPAC education for staff and visitors
- Conduct audits and analyze infection control practices
- Participate in Outbreak Team meetings during outbreaks
