Job Description
As Instrument Technician you'll be responsible for testing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining electronic instrumentation systems. This role requires expertise in using traditional electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, RF analyzers, EMF analyzers, high voltage testers and probes. You'll also work with specialized plasma diagnostic equipment. You'll work with a variety of electronic devices, with additional responsibility for diagnosing and analyzing plasma presence and properties. As part of the Production and Technology department, you’ll report directly to the Facility Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate oscilloscopes, RF (radio frequency) analyzers, EMF (electromagnetic field) analyzers, and very high voltage testers and probes to diagnose and resolve system faults
