Job Description
THE ROLE
As the Senior Specialist / Specialist, IP & Brand Protection, you will support with:
- Establishing Aritzia’s approach to IP & Brand Protection
- Identifying and advising on brand protection opportunities in our Product Division
- Capitalizing on Intellectual Property value including preparing technical drawings
- Identifying imitation, misrepresentation, and reputational risks to our brand
- Seamlessly remediating brand infringements
- Responding quickly to brand infringements and mitigating future abuse
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Specialist / Specialist, IP & Brand Protection, has:
- Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience in Intellectual Property
- Experience preparing technical drawings for patent applications is an asset
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
