Job Description
The Arlington County Transit Bureau, in partnership with Transdev, is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Specialist to support the development, integration, ongoing performance, and maintenance of intelligent systems within the public transit network.
This role serves as a critical link between Operations, Technology, and Planning, ensuring that transit services remain efficient, safe, reliable, accessible, and data-driven. The ITS Specialist will act as a key technical resource, supporting the integration and optimization of transportation technologies such as CAD/AVL systems, real-time passenger information signage, Automatic Passenger Counters (APC), and other advanced transit technologies.
