Contract Network Specialist Contract – 12 months Brampton, ON Our CLIENT based in Brampton and an Employer of Choice in the region is looking for a Contract Network Specialist with at least 3-5 years of work experience in the IT networking function with the following qualifications and tasks: A working knowledge of Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches and routers, as well as all newer Cisco devices, is a must. A working knowledge of OSPF and BGP routing protocols is a must. Documenting reports using Word and Visio, CAB submissions using ServiceNow, and creation of MOPs, etc., are typical requirements. Use of network monitoring software like SolarWinds and Logi Monitor. NXOS and IOS software upgrades to network devices and systems, as well as supporting other network technicians as needed. Other duties as deemed necessary, as outlined in the position description.
