Cariboo Memorial Hospital is currently expanding its Internal Medicine (IM) team and enhancing services to better meet the needs of the community. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collegial and well‑supported environment, alongside a dedicated surgical team, a busy emergency department with approximately 25,000 visits annually, and a strong network of full‑service family physicians in Williams Lake.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a General Internist who will manage inpatient care, provide consults in the emergency department, and oversee our 4‑bed High Acuity Unit (HAU). The candidate will also provide care in the clinic from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, participate in a 1:4 on‑call rotation covering the HAU and ER, and may access the Rapid Access clinic.
