Interpreter Outpatient Speech Therapy (Pediatrics) Position Summary Under general supervision, the Interpreter provides accurate and effective translation of both written and spoken communication between languages. This role supports outpatient pediatric speech therapy services by facilitating clear communication between clinicians, patients, and families. Depending on the setting, translation may be consecutive or simultaneous and may require subject-specific knowledge. Key Responsibilities Translate written documents and materials while maintaining accuracy in meaning, grammar, tone, and context. Provide in-person or virtual interpretation during therapy sessions, meetings, and consultations. Listen attentively to spoken communication and relay messages clearly and accurately between languages.
