Inventory Control Specialist ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, efficiently managed, and readily available to meet organizational needs. They play a critical role in maintaining supply chain efficiency, minimizing stock discrepancies, and supporting overall operational success.
Job Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, perform regular audits, reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Shipping and Receiving: Handle shipment and receipt of products, materials, and supplies, including special orders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Stock Control: Process requisitions, replenish stock items, and manage specialty carts or kits, ensuring priority items are delivered promptly.
- Data and Reporting: Use inventory management software to update records, generate reports, monitor trends, and forecast future inventory needs.
