Position Overview
The IT Advisor plays a central role in organizing, tracking, and managing the physical and logical technology assets under IT control. The IT Advisor is independently responsible for coordinating technology (software, hardware, and accessories) acquisition and distribution for IT and other departments. The IT Advisor also plays a key role in the testing of software solutions used by Ivey students and staff.
Purchasing
- Purchase hardware and software assets for Ivey in an accurate, timely, and cost-effective manner in conjunction with the Director, IT Service and Support.
- Ensure asset requests are aligned with device standards as supported by IT helpdesk.
