Career Opportunity Role Title IT Financial Operations Analyst (FinOps)
Purpose of role: The FinOps Analyst is responsible for the financial stewardship of Foresters' cloud environments, ensuring cost transparency, accurate forecasting, disciplined optimizations, and ensuring Foresters extracts the anticipated business value from the cloud services it is purchasing. The role supports the Foresters FinOps operating model by enabling daily cost visibility, improving forecast accuracy, and executing ongoing optimization activities such as rightsizing, idle cleanup, storage lifecycle management, and commitment optimization. The role partners closely with IT Cloud and Infrastructure Services team, IT Operations leadership, Finance, Procurement, and vendor management to optimize technology spend, enhance accountability, and support strategic decision making.
