Job Description
We are currently seeking a Journeyperson Truck & Transport Technician to join our team. The successful applicant must be focused, driven, and able to work in a team environment; be self‑motivated and have a genuine desire to get the job done in a professional, efficient and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Making repairs to fleet vehicles, including (but not limited to) repairing diesel engines, alignments, suspension, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Diagnosing failures of vehicles and disassembling, repairing and reassembly parts as necessary
- Performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
