TheJunior Accountantsupports the finance team by performing daily accounting tasks, with a primary focus on processing bank transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities
Bank & Cash Management
- Record daily bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and electronic payments.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor cash balances and flag unusual or unexpected activity.
- Maintain organized documentation for all banking activity
General Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries for recurring and ad‑hoc transactions.
