Job Description
Your job is to respond to enquiries from B2B customers (Quotations) and nurture customer relationships to generate repeat business. You must know the road transportation business with trailers, Cranes and trucks. You will have to deal with customers, brokers, fleet owners etc. to obtain the best transportation rates from the market and based on those rates, quote and negotiate with customers for FTL loads has to be made. You will need to win as much work as possible with the best possible margins and grow the business multifold in the area / region assigned to you. The work may need you to visit customers and conduct surveys of goods to be moved as well as routes etc. - you should be prepared for this. You will work as a team with Internal teams. Update win quotations to our software . Our company uses technology a lot and is a nearly paperless organization, so you should be capable of using computers and mobiles on a daily basis.
