Job Summary
Reporting to the Manager of ECU and Infection Control, the Kinesiologist will work collaboratively with all members of the interdisciplinary health care team at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) to support and enhance the services of the Long-Term Care facility and ensure the provision of safe, wholistic, patient centered care to our clients. The Kinesiologist will work independently and under the guidance of the Physiotherapists and Occupational therapists, in conjunction with departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Degree in kinesiology (Bachelor, or Masters). Master of Professional Kinesiology preferred.
- Registered or eligible for registration within 3 months with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario (CKO)
- Previous experience working directly with clients in a Long-Term Care facility preferred
- Basic computer knowledge/skills required
