1 month contract with a Local Authority Job Title: Kitchen Assistant Job Purpose To support the efficient delivery of a safe, high-quality lunch service for approximately 20 pupils at Middleton Primary School. The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for food service, maintaining excellent hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures, and carrying out general housekeeping duties within the kitchen and dining areas. Key Responsibilities Serve meals to pupils in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. Support the daily lunch service for approximately 20 pupils. Ensure all food is presented and served in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and serving areas. Carry out washing up, cleaning, and sanitising of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety procedures.
