Job Description
Salary: 86,000-120,000 CAD /year (based on experience)
Kleinschmidt has a full‑time opening for a Mechanical Engineer to support design and consulting for hydro‑electrical power plants out of Halifax, NS or Peterborough, ON. This position requires three days in‑office.
Who You Are
An EIT or P.Eng with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of four years’ experience; three of which must be acceptable and verifiable for the Engineering Board of your province.
- Relationship‑focused: Experience developing long‑lasting relationships with clients to assist them in solving complex engineering challenges.
- Knowledgeable: Experience with machine design, preferably facility design in oil systems, water pumping systems, piping, or other hydraulic/pneumatic machinery; knowledge of an integrated design environment and 3‑D modeling (Revit, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.). FEA and/or CFD experience preferred.
