## DescriptionEMSL Canada is seeking a **Laboratory Analyst (Asbestos)** in Mississauga**.**No laboratory experience is required, just a desire to learn technical skills and become proficient in common laboratory practices and procedures. On-the-job training will be provided for all new employees. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** Preparation and analysis of bulk and solid materials for asbestos content using PLM (Polarized Light Microscopy), PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy), and/or TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), and all ancillary quality control procedures Determination of visual percentage and optical properties of asbestos and non-asbestos material Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed Generate analytical reports and enter data into LIMS system Perform quality control practices per company Quality Assurance/Quality Control manual Administrative duties including sample login and data entry, scanning and emailing reports and answerin...
