This is a FT Lactation Consultant position at Providence St John's Health Center, in Santa Monica, CA. Multiple FT positions available and shifts depending on availabilty.
The Lactation Consultant (LC) is supervised by the Manager of Mother-Baby Unit. The LC is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the breastfeeding assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position serves as a lead consultant that will provide breast-feeding education and assistance to in-patients and outpatients. The consultant will also provide education to nursing staff. This will ensure that consistent support is available to all patients.
