POSITION TYPE FULL-TIME, 35 HOURS/WEEK (Mon – Fri, 1:30 pm – 9:00 pm)
THE ROLE
The Lead Youth Activity Worker is a front‑line position that is responsible for planning and leading activities and programs for children and youth ages 6-18, program prep and clean up, purchasing program supplies, preparing meals and snacks, driving participants in agency vehicles on field trips, mentoring Activity Workers and volunteers, promoting safety, and dealing with incidents and sensitive issues. The Lead Activity Worker is someone who enjoys working with children and youth, thrives in a fast‑paced environment where they can get involved in the activities, build healthy and positive relationships with the children and youth, and expand the children’s skills and interests.
