Senior Track Engineer
GHD is looking for a senior track engineer to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves leading a technical team and managing the track design process, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead track design for engineering projects in accordance with client requirements and codes and standards (Metrolinx, TTC, AREMA)
- Ensure all requirements including specifications and standards are integrated into the project
- Ensure quality control processes are being followed
- Provide support to business development and strategic initiatives, including preparation of proposals, developing design workflows and best practices
- Develop and mentor staff
- Partner with the Project Manager on the budget and schedule on a regular basis while identifying gaps and providing solutions to achieving the scope
