Core Technical Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience inCOBOL, JCL, DB2, and FOCUS
- Experience working inbatch processing environments
- Hands-on knowledge ofCA-7 scheduling
- Strong understanding offlat files and dataset-based processing environments
- Capability toanalyze and interpret legacy/custom-developed programs, including:
- Understanding program logic and workflows
- Identifying data flows and dependencies
- Supporting maintainability and system documentation
- Ability to independentlyreview and assess existingmainframecodebase
- Strong analytical skills todecode and document legacy systems
- Prior experience inonsite lead roles, managing and guiding offshore teams
