Job Title: Lead Mechanic
Location: Dayton, NJ
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: Up to $40 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 7 AM- 3:30 PM
Overview
Responsibilities
+ Oversee and support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of high-speed filling and packaging equipment in a GMP manufacturing environment.
+ Serve as the senior technical resource on the production floor, ensuring reliability and uptime across platforms including Groninger fillers, PKB filling systems, JG volumetric fillers, Kalix cartoners, Sollas cellophane wrapping machines, labeling systems, checkweighers, and auxiliary packaging equipment.
+ Lead and coordinate daily activities of mechanics and technical staff across shifts.
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics, supporting skill development and cross-training.
