Job Description
Experience in a Power system studies for Substations and grid integration studies for Renewable Power Plants. Preferred to have profound knowledge about renewable generation (Solar PV inverters, wind energy systems), HVDC, FACTS (STATCOM, SVC, SCG).
Should have hands‑on experience working on software like PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, DigSILENT.
- Experience in Grid integration studies like Transient and Steady state stability studies, voltage stability studies, harmonic studies, power quality studies, LVRT (Low Voltage Ride Through) and Fault Ride Through studies.
- Experience in performing short circuit analysis and sizing the switchgear and circuit breaker as per the standard.
- Experience in Insulation coordination studies - cable energization, transformer energization, reactor energization, TRV, direct and indirect lightning strike study, very fast transient over voltage (GIS) using PSCD or similar, Switching study, Power oscillation damping, Sub‑Sy...
