**Deep Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing**
- Ability to set the lean manufacturing strategy for multiple divisions see the big picture
- Understands why lean manufacturing gives a company a competitive advantage
- Understands external threats to the company
- Understands Company's internal strengths and weaknesses
- Takes both of the above into account when setting lean manufacturing direction
- Knows why it's important to focus on the Process side of activities and not just short term results
- Can put together and implement a 3-5 year plan
- Can visualize, teach and implement lean manufacturing strategies
- Understands how lean manufacturing develops people
- Demonstrates strong problem solving skills and can teach others how to problem solve
- Can utilize individual Lean manufacturing tools to eliminate waste
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience implementing lean manufacturing
