Job Description
A career as Legal Counsel in the Legal Documentation, Capital Markets team at National Bank involves acting as a specialist on legal matters related to trading activities and financial market transactions, while having a tangible impact on the activities of the Bank and its subsidiaries through your expertise in financial law, contractual negotiation, and legal analysis applied to complex transactions.
Your role
- Draft, review and negotiate transactional financial contracts, including, in particular, clearing master agreements such as the ISDA Master Agreement, Security Lending and Repurchase Agreements, as well as Collateral and Custodian Agreements.
- Provide legal opinions covering various areas of law applicable to financial markets, including secured transactions law, derivatives, financing and banking law.
