The Emergency Department at the South Health Campus is a large urban department. It is comprised of an interdisciplinary department that provides care to patients of varying acuity. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the emergency department will work as an essential member of the South Health Campus Emergency Department team caring for all patients of varying acuity.The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients. The emergency department is a dynamic and a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong prioritization and assessment skills and be able to show flexibility in a busy work environment.
