Job Description
Village Veterinary Clinic wants to make you a part of our work family if you have at least one year of experience as a Veterinary LVT with an active or pending State of Virginia license.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Surgery preparation, with pre-and post-operative care and administering anesthesia and patient monitoring.
- Dental cleanings and some dental procedures.
- Triage emergency and hospitalized patient nursing and laboratory testing.
- Assist with exam 'rooming' of animals to intake vital signs and weight to prepare the Veterinarian for appointments.
- Utilize proper and safe handling techniques to hold cats and dogs during procedures.
- Aid Veterinarians in the treatment room by assisting with blood draws, preparing, and completing lab work, monitoring patients during surgical procedures, collecting samples from animals, and preparing vaccines.
