Position Summary
Little Readers Teacher/Tutor – part‑time role at Oxford Learning Kerrisdale, Vancouver, British Columbia. This position works 2–5 days per week, 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm during the school year, with optional Saturday mornings (9:00 am – 12:00 pm). It is an in‑person teaching role requiring a commute to the Kerrisdale location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field
- University students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Teaching certification is an asset
- Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 7 curriculum
- Experience teaching or tutoring at Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 7 (or equivalent) level
- Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students’ understanding
- Ability to multitask and work with up to three students at a time
