Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the export and release of all shipments for DRS Pivotal Power Inc. (PPI) as well as supporting the import of materials to PPI as required. This role is based out of Bedford, Nova Scotia.
As a Logistics Coordinator, your main responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Works with PPI Customers and Carriers to arrange shipments from PPI, including third party carriersArranges/assists with inbound shipments as requiredPrepares all applicable export and supporting documentation, i.e., customs invoice, packing slip, BOL for all outbound shipmentsEnsures compliance with all import and export permit acts and related regulationsSupports custom clearance efforts with document support for POD, exporter/importer record verification, tariff code queries/corrections, pricing, etc.Prepares and submits documentation to NDQAR/DCMA fo...
