Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety
- Take all actions necessary for the adequate control and/or elimination of hazards in the workplace, including detailed investigations for all safety incidents and near misses.
- Provide support, direction, coaching and training to the teams for all health and safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory health and safety requirements.
- Facilitate and participate in health and safety training on all new and existing programs.
- Assume role of Incident Commander during emergencies, including ERT responsibilities.
- Lead and reinforce safe work practices within the team(s), including Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S.
- Review safety incidents weekly and execute CAPAs.
Quality
- Ensure team follows Good Manufacturing Practices and receives adequate training.
