As part of the Investor Relations & Communications department and reporting to the Director, Communications, this role is responsible for shaping and supporting the development and execution of Cameco’s media and public relations strategies.
In this role, you will:
- Manage Cameco’s relationship with media and serve as a company spokesperson for media inquiries and interview requests.
- Research emerging issues to prepare appropriate corporate messaging and communications materials with the input of relevant subject matter experts.
- Support the development and delivery of materials to meet Cameco’s public reporting and disclosure requirements in areas such as investor relations and regulatory affairs.
- Lead and support the development and execution of proactive communication plans, key message campaigns, and advertising strategies on a variety of subjects.
