Overview
The Manager, Mexico Statutory Accounting is a position within the Americas Controller organization. The Senior Manager will work closely with other members of the Finance organization, especially members of FP& A, Legal, Regional Shared Service, and Global Tax teams. The Manager is responsible for statutory audits and their related matters.
Responsibilities
Prepare timely, accurate reporting and filing of statutory financial results, including annual filings (e.g. MD& A, footnote disclosures, etc.). Coordinate with external local CPA firm in preparation of schedules and interrogatories for Mexico tax and accounting filings. Primary accounting lead on any ad-hoc statutory audits and examinations from external or internal inquiries, including but not limited to governmental agencies, external auditors, etc. Perform local account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis.
