Job Summary
The Purchasing Manager leads the design and execution of sourcing strategies to ensure reliable continuity of indirect spend supplies across other locations enabling Advanced Energy’s business groups to operate efficiently while supporting internal needs and corporate cost objectives. The role oversees supplier quality, delivery, and cost performance, and is accountable for supplier selection, performance management, and issue or crisis resolution. This position reports to the Director, Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish procurement division with Asia Pacific multiple sites for indirect spends covering a wide range of categories (equipment, facility, IT, MRO, professional services and Capex items)
- Proactively manage projects and perform purchasing tenders and supplier selection.
